Recently, there have been large efforts to try and get people to start coding. Specifically, Code.org, a non-profit foundation dedicated to growing computer programming education, has ramped up this initiative and featured key influencers such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg as spokespeople. On the site, there are further quotes from founders and CEOs of companies such as Reddit, Zynga and Dropbox to celebrities and political figures like Chris Bosh, Ashton Kutcher and Mike Bloomberg, who speak to the significance of learning how to code.
